Harvest Moon: September 2013
When was the last time you looked up at the moon and felt its power? I've started paying attention to the cycles of the moon and also the significance of full moons at different times of the year. The full moon that you will see in the sky for the next few days is also called the harvest moon.

Chapter 1 or Chapter 20
I think it is safe to say that at some point or another in our lives we compare what we have to what someone else has. Growing up we are jealous of the toys other kids have and then in high school it becomes about what clothes you are wearing. There is a point in everyone lives when the track they are on is not the same as all of their peers. Another way of looking at it is that our peers change over time.

Veggies of My Labor
A few months ago when my parents and brother were visiting I planted a garden. In the time since then I've added a few more plants, started giving it fertilizer, and moved the pots from the back yard to the front yard. Ollie decided the fertilizer was his new favorite snack so he kept digging in it!
If you want to see how much the plants have grown take a look at my first post about my garden!

24 Things I've Learned in the Past 24 Years
To celebrate my birthday I put together a list of 24 things I've learned in the past 24 years.
1. All you need is love. Even though they are lyrics in a song it's still true.
2. A hug makes most things better and it's a good rule to give a hug every day. (Thanks Mom.)
3. It's never bad to ask questions. (Thanks Poppie.)
