Yoga Mat Review and Giveaway

Over the past few weeks I've been using a new yoga mat! It's the Extra Thick Deluxe Yoga Mat from Yoga Accessories! As a teacher I tend to use and know more about the high end yoga mats but I realize that students typically don't want to or need to spend as much money on a mat they only use a few times a week.

This mat is a great option for students who want a high quality mat! When I first read that the mat was 'extra thick' I was a little worried that I wouldn't be able to balance and it would feel like I was standing on a pillow. However, this is not the case!

The mat is 1/4 of an inch thick which is enough to give you extra support under your knees and hands but not thick enough to get in your way. One of the other great things about this mat is that it acts similarly to memory foam! When you stand on it and then step off you can still see where your feet were. It quickly reverts back up after a few seconds.

This mat is also just over 6 feet long which is great for people who are a little taller than average. Even if you aren't taller it's always nice to have the extra room to move around. My one word of caution about this mat is that the first few times I used it my hands were slipping a bit but now I don't have a problem with that.

Because I think this is such a great mat for anyone new to yoga or an experienced student I will be giving away one Extra Thick Deluxe Yoga Mat thanks to Yoga Accessories.

The giveaway will end on Wednesday, February 27 at 12pm CST (1pm EST)!!

  1. I am a yoga virgin (basically) so the only poses that I'm really familiar with are the child's pose, downward facing dog, dead-bug's pose, etc. I do really like the child's pose though! :)

    thanks for the chance!

  25. It may also pay to learn how to do first aid especially when traveling as a group. There are some companies that can offer such training for a very low fee, so you should make a point of taking advantage of this if you can. Remember, the skills that you gain from such courses are not only going to be used on the trip; they may also come in handy later on in your life. Most high quality backpacking companies may also offer people training on how to maintain their health during the trip. You can also take advantage of such courses, since they are normally customized to provide the most important information for such a trip.Click to get the services of Chiropractor For Shoulder Pain, Active Release Chiropractic and Denver Colorado Chiropractors
