Thanksgiving Cooking

I've finally arrived at my parents house! My dad had to do some work in NYC yesterday so I was able to get a ride back with him. From 9 until 2 we were at two different showrooms and then we had a really yummy lunch at a natural restaurant.  We left the city at 3pm but didn't get home until 10:15pm.  Usually it only takes us three hours to get home from NYC but there was a big accident on our way up so we sat in the car for an extra four hours.  But now I'm home which feels so good! I haven't been here since July and after all my traveling it feels like a great treat.

After I did yoga this morning Mom and I started talking about what we are going to cook over the long weekend. I have a big list of new recipes I'm going to try out.  Here are a few!

In the past mom and I have made a really yummy cranberry sauce but it has a LOT of white sugar in it. So this year I'm trying one that uses maple syrup as the sweetener.

I hope everyone has a great Thanksgiving!!!!!
