Breakfast Pizza with Eggs

Sometimes you need to try something new to discover something great. So today we decided to have pizza for breakfast and rather than the traditional pizza toppings  we used breakfast foods.

Breakfast Pizza

Pizza dough (store bought or homemade, enough for one or two pizzas)
4 slices of bacon
2 sausage patties (any type)
3 or 4 eggs per pizza
1/2 cup of cheddar cheese
Olive oil
Salt
Pepper

Preheat the oven to 450-500 degrees

Cook your bacon and sausage until your desired crispness is reached. Allow to cool while you coat a baking sheet with a small amount of olive oil. Spread out the dough so it is as thick or thin as you want it.

Slice the bacon and sausage into smaller than bite sized pieces. Drizzle more olive oil on to the top of the dough and then evenly spread the meat across the pizza dough. Cover with the shredded cheese .

I broke two of the yolks on this one...OOpps
Once the oven is preheated, crack the eggs directly on to the pizza so that most of the pizza is covered. Try not to crack the yolks (once cooked the runny yolks will serve as a sauce).

Move the pizza directly into the oven and allow it to bake for 10 minutes.

Once done remove and allow the pizza to rest for about 5 min to allow the eggs to set fully. Cut into pieces and serve; I try to cut it so that there is one egg per piece so not to miss out on the runny deliciousness.
